PEC Championship Returning to HyperX Esports Arena
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The PEC National Championship is returning to the HyperX Esports Arena in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year. The venue, located inside the world-famous Luxor Pyramid, remains the only arena to host the event in conference history and will once again serve as the stage for the PEC’s premier championship weekend.
HyperX Esports Arena will be equipped with 40 state-of-the-art competition PCs alongside seating, food and beverage options, and additional entertainment spaces for fans and supporters attending the event. The facility’s professional stage, broadcast infrastructure, and arena seating make it one of the premier esports venues in North America.
All nine PEC member institutions will be represented during championship weekend, with four different schools currently leading the conference power rankings across the league’s competitive titles. With conference standings tightening entering the final stretch of the season, the championship field is expected to feature several closely contested matchups.
The PEC National Championship will feature competition in Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Valorant, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with teams competing for conference titles across three days of play.
The event is scheduled for April 10–12, with matches beginning each day at HyperX Esports Arena inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino.

Baylor Esports was formally established in 2025 with the hiring of Adam Stanley as the program’s first director and varsity coach.
