Collegiate Varsity and Academy Esports
Players on Baylor’s Varsity Team are recruited based on their skills or try out for the team to participate in elite levels of competition with other colleges and universities across the nation. Academy athletes train alongside the Varsity Team and may earn a spot on Varsity. The teams are coached by an esports professional. Student esports athletes have training and academic requirements to be eligible for competition. Scholarship opportunities are available to many of these athletes.
Please fill out this short form to provide us with the information we need to get an understanding of who you are as a player, your academic and competitive interests and how to best contact you.
For any questions, please email our Director of Esports at Adam_Stanley@baylor.edu or message on Discord at adamstanley.
Club Esports Team
Our Club Team, Oso Esports, is a student-led organization that pursues competition among other collegiate club teams in the region, outside of the Varsity/Academy structure. Club participants also enjoy team activities and opportunities to engage on campus. Learn more about Oso Esports through Baylor Connect, the portal for all student organizations at Baylor.
Recreational Gaming
Throughout the school year, Baylor hosts tournaments and intramural gaming opportunities open to all students. Scheduled activities are promoted through the University calendar and various on-campus communications like What’s New BU, the student activities email sent each Monday during the school year.
